Multiracial Identity Session
Time & Location
About The Event
This session is focused on people who identify as being multiracial. We will explore multiracial identity, the challenge of identity, family dynamics, healing, racial impostor syndrome, and more. Often, those of us with multiracial identities are overlooked in regards to support and resources around what it means to be multiracial. We also unconsciously face lots of challenges around our identities and feelings of belonging. We aim to dive into these topics and connect with each other across our various racial backgrounds. We do ask that only people who identify as multiracial register for this event.
**Please note that often when the term 'multiracial' is mentioned, our tendency is to think along the black/white dynamic. This session is open to any person who identifies as multiracial; multiple perspectives are essential for authenticity and deepening our learning.**
Snacks and water will be provided throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch. You will receive more details about how to prepare as the event date approaches.
NOTE: $60 is the recommended price. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you're interested and available, please register no matter what your financial situation. If you need a scholarship, simply say for how much in the comment box when you register. Select "manual payment" for the payment type.
